TO REGISTER FOR A CLINIC:

ALL BENCH STAFF MUST COMPLETE THE FOLLOWING:

 

1.   Vulnerable Sector Check (O.P.P.) - Please contact the RMHA Registrar ([email protected] ) for the Volunteer letter required and complete the application on the OPP site
**Once you receive your VSC, you must complete the Screening Submission process through the Ontario Screen Submission Portal. Ensure that you select HEO as your Ontario member.

 

2.   Gender Identity online training course

3.   Respect in Sport Activity Leader – ensure you choose Renfrew MHA

Coaches must also complete the following, depending on division:

 

1.   Hockey Canada Coach 1 Course (relevant module U7 – U18)
Register through your Hockey Canada Registry account

 

2.   Coach 1 (1 day in class course)
Register through your Hockey Canada Registry account
NCCP Coaching Clinics | Hockey Eastern Ontario

 

3.   Coach 2 (1 day in class course) - required for U11 and up

4.   Development 1 (2 day in class course) – required for U13 and up competitive

RMHA will reimburse bench staff who successfully complete the appropriate certifications in which their involvement has been pre-approved.

 

All required online certifications must be completed before their team’s first regular season league game, or on-ice activity (U7) to remain on the team’s roster.  Volunteers must be registered for their appropriate in-person certifications before their team’s first regular season league game, or on-ice activity (U7) to remain on the team’s roster.  All required certifications must be complete no later than November 30 of the current season. Trainer Level 1 certification/recertification or Trainer Level 2 upgrades/renewals must be completed by October 31 of the current season.
